It was dark when I got up this morning after six; it is dark now, half past five. It didn’t really become light today at all, the sky heavy with clouds spitting intermittent rain as the wind has built steadily.
We are not forecast for much up here in Maine, just a standard nor’easter, but I look at the maps and have a great deal of respect for a weather system that can raise storm wind warnings in Bermuda, Cape Hatteras, and Cape Cod at the same time.
Holding thoughts, a prayer of sorts, for those in the storm’s way. Be safe, be dry, be warm.
